மைத்திரியின் கண்ணாமூச்சி விளையாட்டு! கடுப்பான சுமந்திரன்!!

புதிய பிரதமரை நியமியுங்கள் என ஒரு வாக்கெடுப்பு நடத்தி அதனை எனக்கு அறிவியுங்கள் என மைத்மிரி தம்மிடம் தெரிவித்ததாக சுமந்திரன் தகவல் வெளிநிட்டுள்ளார்.

நாட்டில் உள்ள சிக்கலான நிலையை தீர்த்துக்கொள்வதற்காக வெளிப்படையாக ஐக்கிய தேசிய கட்சியை கூட்டமைப்பு ஆதரிக்கும் என கடிதம் மூலமாக கூட்டமைப்பு மைத்திரிக்கு தெரியப்படுத்திய பின்னர், இன்று நடந்த சந்திப்பில் மீண்டும் இன்னொரு வாக்கெடுப்பை நடத்துமாறு போக்கு காட்டினார் மைத்திரி.

முன்னர் நம்பிக்கையில்லா பிரேரணையை சரியாக நடைபெறவில்லை என இழுத்தடித்த மைத்திரி, இப்போது மகிந்தவுக்கு ஆதரவில்லை என அறிந்தபின்னரும் இழுத்தடிப்பு செய்வதற்கு தயாராக இருப்பதாகவே அறியப்படுகிறது. அல்லது நீதிமன்ற தீர்ப்பு வரும்வரை தான் சரியாகவே செயற்பட்டேன் என காட்டுவதற்காக கண்ணாமூச்சி விளையாடுவதாக சுமந்திரன் குறிப்பிட்டார்.

இன்றைய சந்திப்பானது, ஐக்கிய தேசிய கட்சி உடன் நேரடியாக தமிழ்த் தேசிய கூட்டமைப்பு இணைந்த பின்னணியில் நடைபெற்றமை குறிப்பிடதக்கது.

President Maithripala Sirisena informed the Tamil National Alliance (TNA) that Parliament should adopt a motion requesting him to appoint a new Prime Minister in the light of the fact that former President Mahinda Rajapaksa does not currently seem to have a majority in Parliament.

TNA MP M. A. Sumanthiran told the Daily Mirror that the President informed him this when they met him last evening.

“The President told us that he would like to see Parliament bringing in and approving a motion calling him to appoint a new Prime Minister on December 5 when it meets again,” Mr. Sumanthiran said.

“ President also told us that it has become clear that former President Mahinda Rajsapaka who functions as Prime Minister currently does not have a majority in Parliament especially after motions that have been approved by Parliament during the past few days,” he added.

Leader of Opposition R Sampanthan, Mr. Sumanthiran and MP S Sivamohan included the TNA delegation which met President Sirisena last evening.
