சிங்கள யாப்பின்படி ரணிலை நீக்கியது சரி - மைத்திரி

வெளிநாட்டு இராசதந்திரிகளுக்கு தற்போதைய நிலைமையை இன்று விளக்கிய மைத்திரி,

சிங்கள மொழியில் உள்ள யாப்பின் அடிப்படையில் தான் ரணிலை நீக்கியதாகவும், யாப்பின் ஆங்கில மொழிபெயர்ப்பை வாசித்து குழம்பவேண்டாம் எனவும் கேட்டுக்கொண்டார்.

"There is a differences in Sinhala and English clause of the constitution, although it's not in the English clause in Sinhala clause you have powers to remove PM, President explained this to diplomats" Govt Spokesman Mahinda Samarasinghe.

Minister Samarasinghe stated that the president explained clearly to the ambassadors that Ranil Wickremesinghe works in English. He noted that even though Ranil was able to amend the English text the way he wants, he forgot to amend the Sinhala text, therefore the President holds the power to appoint a person who has won the majority confidence as PM.
